MilliCharity Registration 3rd Anniversary Party

3rd Anniversary Party

MilliCharity is one of Dongguan’s oldest charity groups.  In 2011, it became one of the first charity groups to be registered with the government.  If I understand things correctly, it was the first registered charity which hadn’t had some sort of prior government sponsorship.

On November 30th, 2014, there was a party for the 3rd anniversary of getting registered.  See if you can spot me in this photo.

Millicharity celebrates 3 years of registration.

There’s so much more I want to say about this organization, but that’s going to take dozens of posts.  For now, I’ll just say that I’m proud to serve on its board of directors.  My wife and I currently sponsor 6 children’s education through the organization.  If you can read Chinese, visit MilliCharity.com for more info.

Escaped Lunatic

I've been fascinated by China for as long as I can remember. I took a teaching position in Dongguan in 2006-2007 and fell in love with the people and the country. I packed up and moved to China in 2010. I got married to a lovely Chinese lady in 2011. I got my Chinese green card in 2018. For me, life in China is a fun adventure. I hope you enjoy reading about it.
